converting sc300 into sc400 w/ manual trans
let me start off by saying hello to everyone, im new to this site. but every time i google something anout a lexus i get directed here to you guys, so with that being said, i know for sure ill get what im looking for here!!!
as the title says, my shop and i are converting a customers car from a sc300 manual trans into a v8 with a manual trans. everything is going well until now, now i need to know what parts are going to be needed to install the trans that came out from behind the 6cylinder. i have done a search on here and seen phoniex's build and what he used. im not sure that the proper name of the transmission i have is?? im assuming its the same as the supra (m85?? dont recall the exact adbrevation) if im reading properly. will i need the adapter plate like his build? what bellhousing is used? any help would be great guys. thanks again

customer loves his car, car has 150k on it and he wanted it refurbished and alittle more power and still keep the stick. so we replaced all suspension, lowerd 2in, brembo brake kit, all trim new and painted black, shaved handles, sent all interior pieces out to be dyed a darker tan, new carpet, got the v8 w harness and ecu's from a lexus graveyard. but wiring was ez, plug and play so far. now we are trying to get tranny in and im piecing together the hydrallic cooling fan pieces and lines. everything else has fell into place.
