sounds like your trans is slipping or a torque converter issue.

It shifts a little hard in second and third but no slipping or anything. MAF is plugged in.

I've said this I think three times now, but stop wasting so much money on **** that's probably not gonna help and just get it diagnosed. In the end, it probably will save you some money.

I had the same problem. I had a different code i got a 13 code tho. both my CEL and TRAC light would stay on and it was a camshaft position sensor. Test them with a ohm meter. if you get a OL reading that means the sensor is bad.

Replaced a coil on the right side of the engine(when looking at the engine) and it runs GREAT NOW! I dont have any shifting problems or anything anymore! Going to reset the codes and see if it still spits out a 25. If it does its probably just an o2 sensor but nothing big. Thanks for all the inputs!

Default 92 SC400 - not running on all 8

Car ran perfect, went to store - block later fell on face - feels like running on 3 or 4 cyclinders. Starts, idles ruff. Replaced both coils & fuel filter - no change. 1 coil drivers side was bad. Dont know where to go from here. Car has 177k miles.

Can anyone please share the exact location of BOTH coils? I'm having similar issues, and will be replacing the original 19 year old coils soon...
