Default I need an Alternator???

Hey,
I did the 1JZ swap a few months back, but i'm having alternator issues, so i was wondering if anyone knew what alternator i could used to replace the stock 1jz alternator. The 1jz is out of a 92 Soarer, and i swapped it in a 1992 SC300???????????

Help me, Help me please

THANK YOU

Or have yours rebuilt. That's what I did with my JDM 3S-GTE alt in my MR2. Only cost $60 to rebuild, rather than the $400 toyota wanted for a new one. Had a local shop do it. They had it for 2 days, replaced the brushes and bearings, cleaned and painted it, and it came with a 1 year warranty.

ditto, make sure you get one for your year as the plugs are different for later years. Bolts right up and works like a charm

Yes 92-94 used the round alternator plug and the alternator wires are part of the engine harness.
95 has the new style oval plug and it's on the body harness in the engine bay.
But they both will bolt up .

Your 2jz alternator has more amperage rating anyway. That will allow you to hook up more axillary without seeing too much drop.
