SC300 Tuning Options Help!
I have a 92 SC300 With a japanese 2JZ-GTE with a T4 Holset turbo that I was told is the size of a T88. It made 402 WHP on about 13 psi. I want to make 600-700 on pump but I dont really want to go full standalone at this point unless I need to. What do you guys think I should use for tuning and fuel system? SAFC, FIC, Tuned ECU?

First issue is you're not going to be able to make 600-700 on pump gas without going full standalone...

Honestly, I wouldn't even begin to consider pushing that much fuel (600-700 WHP worth) without a standalone AND a pro tune. I just don't understand why you'd want to cut that corner at the same time you're working your engine that hard.

Thats why I am asking these questions. With my last build 99 trans am f1a 408 i was pushing 8xx WHP on a stock ecu tuned so I'm seeing what the limits are with this setup.

I know I'm just debating if it's worth putting all the money in it or not I may be content with just like 600 who and I hear that people do that with a safc. Is that not safe?

Would I go that route? No. It's just risky when you start boosting a lot of psi into your motor and not have control of everything that goes into it. Not only fuel and air. With a standalone you will be able to correct timing and so on. So your best bet would be a standalone... but if budget is a factor, well just keep the boost low for a while and when you can spring for it. Good luck
