I live in a state with no emission testing. Just picked up a '93 SC300 totally stock drivetrain other than fans. I'm having a custom exhaust built and was wondering how this car is going to act with no catalytic converter. It's odb1 but I'm new to this Lexus thing... is there an o2 sensor on the back side of the last cat that's going to go nuts if I remove it. Also, are there other cats built into the exhaust manifolds on these cars? I haven't really dug around under there any yet.

I don't think that removing the secondary cat will give you any problems, but the primary one might. I'm not too sure.

You might loose a little power in the low RPM's ,and exhaust will be a bit louder from what i read here.
