LOL is he making a joke, with the "skool" thing? If not your FAILING. Im not real sure I know which motor you asking about. vvt-i N/A, vvt-i TT (aristo), 2jzgte, OR vvt-i N/A-T. Your cheapest route is probably N/A-T what you have now. LOL Good luck.

Biggu,

haha you're TOO funny, i spelled that way because its shorter, i text too much. AND what you don't realize is that im an english major so im pretty sure i have way better spelling and use my words more properly than you my friend, with all do respect.

Spdrcr771,
i honestly dont know which motor to go for. Either the Aristo engine or the 2jzgte. I wasssss considering staying with what i have and build it but i dont know, tough decision.

i was planning on getting a vvti of an aristo. i dont see why more high horsepower supra choose not to utilize it. from what ive seen it develops boost 1.5k rpms quicker and give great low end torque. with a good standalone with a vvti controller i dont see why not

Get the VVTI! Soon enough there will be great info on using the vvti for better hp gains. You can make great power with the newer vvti's. I dont want to sound mean but from the look of your post you would benifit from a good bit of reading. The search function is a great tool when you have questions about your build. Google is also a good tool as well. I have my opinions about things, Yours is welcome as well.
Welcome to Club Lexus!

What are your goals for hp/tq? Do you want street power or drag power? Would you be going for track/ drifting? The setup will not be the same for each of those. Feel free to pm me questions about any questions you may have- I would be happy to help.

You guys need to learn more about the VVTi seriously
So why are you shopping for a VVTi engine?

The only downside on the VVTi is when you decide to go EMS they aren't that many EMS that will be PNP but you can always find a Universal one and rewire it up, and the tuning is little PITA but can be done.
And you can always delete the VVTi if you are having a hard time messing with.
