Default engine swap question about VVTI

ok guys, im buying a 98 sc300 auto. im looking at doing a big swap in the future so ill say what i have in mind and than have a few questions.

buying either non-vvti aristo gte, changing the cams, injectors, and going single. and doing my whole turbo build off the car pretty much. than i have a deal on a r154 5 speed. ive built a few na-t's so far, so i know what im doing with the turbo and everything, but heres my questions

1.) if i go non vvti and non vvti ecu, will that stop my guages or anyhting else in the car from working?

2.) will i need a new wiring harness or can i mod the one that comes with the aristo gte? im ok at wiring so if its small i can do it.

3.) what should i do for piggy back? i am not sure if i want to go stand alone, alot of people say its more of a hassle than its worth. and remember im going from auto to 5 speed so maybe stand alone is the easiest but thats why im asking

im looking for 4-500whp daily, and being able to turn it up to 6-700 for fun times haha

thanks for any help guys, will post pics of the car when i pick it up on monday! very clean and great condition!
