Default wont go into gear...

I just finished my 95 sc300 swap. same stock 2jzge motor with 120k miles. f1 stage 2 clutch. and old original 5 speed tranny. Ive been driving around for the past 2 days put 100 miles on it. and then on the way home the car started vibrating a lot everytime i stepped on the gas. As I made a right turn I put it in second and then the car just makes a loud grinding noise towards the back like the differential teeth got all ***ked up so I pull over into a gas station and try to drive forward and it gets louder and really rough.
I wait for my friend to come with a truck and as I try and reverse it makes the same noise and vibration then just stops..
So I put it in first and drive down the street slowly towards home (which was a block down) and then everything was ok and smooth again. Its puzzling in my head...
A/ I though maybe it has a welded diff. and the ticks broke off and got into the teeth or
B/the teeth is a broken and grinding against eachother.
But why would it all of a sudden stop and run smooth as if nothing happen..

PLEASE HELP!

I kinda doubt it's your diff. 100 miles after a clutch job... sounds like you F'ed something up to me.

"Loud noise from the back" kinda points you away from the tranny....

Sounds travel through the drivetrain and going into gear has nothing to do with the rear end.

I agree. Only one way to find out, is to pull the rear end housing off and do some inspecting yourself.

found the problem. Driveshaft bolts all snapped off somehow.. I guess it was too old and rusted lol.
