Stupid Noise Comming from My Car
aright i'm not very good with my grammer due to my language barrier so bare with me aright. i drive a 95 sc300 with 250k miles on it. the car still runs fine but i had little trouble with a few things when i turn my wheel i hear this knock it only happens when i turn it a full 90%. second on a full thank of gas i get only 260miles on it .... next on a morning start when i drive it push the gas petal down and it rolls off everything sounds normal but right when i let go the gas it goes Bua-Boom and i can actually feel it doing it. the noise is not super loud but it only happens when i accerate and then let go the gas it makes that noise do anyone else knows what this can be? I have came up to the conclustion it can be either the Transmission or Its my Balljoint but it only makes that stupid noise no matter if i'm driving fast or slow it would make that noise right when i let go the pedal. I put my car on "N" and reved it and let go the gas to see if i can get that stupid noise again and nothing. Next is every single time when i start my car on a cold start something rattles on the bottom of my car. My conclustion was bad cat or exhaust. Guys have any advice?

Okay for the noise coming from the steering check your steering rack bushings that hold it in place. Also check tie rod ends and the ball joints cause those make noise also. Also some of the bolts on the sub frame come loose and make noises for some odd reason. My friend has that issue on his SC 400. For the bua boom noise check your motor mounts or transmission mounts. Those can definitely be worn out with that much mileage. The rattle on the cold start could likely be a worn out cat or exhaust. If you can get it on a lift check the exhaust hangers and hit the cat to see if it makes any noise. If it makes noise replace it. Hopefully that answers some of your questions.
