Default JDM Oil Return Line - At wits end please help

Okay, this is one of the last parts that is keeping me from completing the swap. The oil return line was ripped on my 2JZGTE when I got it. I figured it would be simple to fix and dropped the motor in and went on my way. Well I can not find a damn hose for this thing. Everything I tried kinks and the USDM one is too skinny and too short.

Does anyone have a JDM oil return line? I am looking for the one that goes from the turbo #1 and drops down to the oil pan. It is almost an S with a sideways twist. This obviously is the best option...for those that have gone single HELP ME OUT LOL!!

Does anyone have an idea of what I could use in its place? It is a 1" ID hose. Straight hose kinks and I would like to go to a store and just pick it up. However if I have to order it I need to do it by tomorrow so it will be here this weekend.

I am tired of trial and error.

I feel you're pain. I just went out and looked in my jdm pile. Mine got massacred during dissassembly. I wish I knew of a shadetree fix, but I've been down this road and you need the oem hose. Guaruntee someone here or SF has one sitting in their garage.

Bump!

Default so you know

umm the oil return line isn't under pressure so you just have to get one thats heat resistant and make sure it isn't kinked or anything and thick enough you can even use steel braided lines if you wanted to.... if you want more info lemme know but I'm usually on sf than here

I got a new usdm 2jz one for my 1jz (like 18 bucks), and it was too short, so I cut it in the middle, and used a piece of narrower stiffer hose and clamped it down inside the 2jz one.

here is a pic of the piece that I need. It is circled.

The USDM one is shorter. I have that but the hardline coming from the turbo is longer on the USDM than the JDM.

I have tried a couple hoses. I even did a "wrap" type configuration with a lot of extra hose. The issue is it kinking in the small space.

I thought about braided line. I just need to find one that is 1" ID. The USDM is skinner as well.

Try a local hydraulic place if available to get the line this weekend if needed.

Whatever you do, don't get something that will kink, that is how my last car caught fire.

yes no kink here!!!

I actually just got off the phone with the hydraulic shop. The same one that has made me only like 5 hoses. They told me my best bet would be a suction hose since I am not that worried about pressure...it is gravity fed. The suction hose has coils inside the hose so it will not kink. I will go pick it up today and will post a pic later, and of course let you know if it worked.

Thanks for the inputs guys. Sometimes when you are knee deep you can not see the light.

alright DOES ANYONE HAVE THE STOCK TUBE???

The USDM is a good bit shorter
The hydraulic shop is not able to make a hose that short
I have tired a number of things and nothing is working.

The car is literally sitting there on jack stands awaiting this do I can turn it over. It is very frustrating.

Any ideas are welcome...

Is the engine aristo? if so the oil return hose is not going to work you have to modify it. I got it to fit but the darn thing rip didn't notice for a while. You might want to try napa or carquest and get a similar s oil line I have that on my car still you have to play around with it. I'll take picture when I can also I bought 98 USDM Supra oil line to see if it work.

yes aristo

the supra line is way too short. Also the USDM is angled different so the twist is not the same. Which oil line did you use. That is what I am trying to find out. If I could get a starting point I would be good

I have an extra hose of the left side of what you have pictured.Have someone weld you an elbow(if its both aluminum) and run a short rubber straight hose.
