After market radiator
Well my radiator took a dump and is leaking from the top where the cooling fins attach the metal frame body where you refill your anti freeze. So i need a new one and was wondering what/which radiator is the best for a replacement? I want something a little better than stock but not too expensive. I was thinking about getting an oem tt radiator, but wasnt sure if it will bolt right up. Opinions CL?

here's an affordable performance one for a tt supra but should fit fine. there was also a thread of one of these radiator installed into an SC300 not to long ago. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CXRac...Q5fAccessories

Someone posted a about a week or 2 back that he did use that radiator from ebay which was for supra TT. There was very very minor adjustment to be done for the mounting holes to fit in perfectly... If you are absolutely not sure and do not want to take the chance, you should just use a radiator off another SC.

well, the tt oem radiator at autozone is $100 cheaper than the sc300's so thats why i want to go with that route. there are many people who have done 2jzgte swaps, but they are not responding to my quarrel. i found the megan racing and mishimoto oem radiator replacement for a tt supra and they only run $240 each. an oem one for the sc from autozone is $236. so i figured i might as well get the mishimoto, but i want to know if a tt radiator is a simple bolt on.

i got an after market radiator for my sc300 , there are no applications of radiator for sc's 300. i got a megan racing 4 core aluminum radiator for my sc 300 but the radiator was actually for a 94-98 tt supra which will work fine , it drops right in wwith no modifications what so ever except that you need to weld at least an inch on each side of the radiator so they go all the way down. our radiators have 2 nipples at the bottom that go into a hole , well on the after market raditor they do come with the 2 nipples but they are not long enough , so what i did is welded an 1inch on each side and that took care of the problem. i got pics search under sc300 for sale

I just picked up my Megan Racing radiator last night and just like scturbo28 said you have to weld new pegs on the bottom of the radiator so it can sit in the stock mounting holes. Mine is only a 3 row but very good quality. I paid $245 but I also picked it up from their warehouse.

looking around and found some oem replacements on the net for like $155, but they never really expressed any kind of warranty on them, and alot of them didnt look trustful. so finally decided to go with a mishimoto radiator since it comes with a lifetime warranty. i got it for $228 shipped from streetrays.com just waiting for it to come in. it sure beats an oem replacement from autozone which runs $232 before tax. i'll probably do a write up for it since no one has done one for an after market radiator.
