WUddup guys.... did a search and couldn't find a definitive answer to this:

Will the supra radiator (turno or non) drop right in without a hitch to our sc300's?

And would it matter if it came from a turbo or non turbo mk4 supra?

I know the radiator hoses won't be a problem as they look like they're in the right places... what i'm not sure about however is the temp sensors.

 

yes it drops in. im running a tt radiator at the moment. the only thing i noticed was the radiator brakets on top holding it down is a little too small so it doesn't sit flush like on the stock radiator. i looked at a couple supras and there radiator brackets are diffrent. other than that it works perfectly. as for na radiator, i believe its about 1mm thinner but should drop in with no problems.

It fits fine.... I'd recommend the fluidyne for a supra TT

Do the TT radiators work for the SC400 also?

 

what are we looking at price-wise here?

i'm looking for cost effectiveness...


plus... i want to be careful about a radiator that does too good of a job... the engine needs to run at a certain temperature.... but I'm sure we won't run into that problem

 

koyo's are around the 300 range, fluidyne's are in the 450 range....

 

also interested what fits the sc4

 

Where did you see that price for a Koyo? I did a search and I'm getting like $450 for a Koyo. Please give me a link. Thank you.

 

hmmm... maybe an stock one would suit me better.... ebay has'em for the supra for 130 buy it now

 

arent the TT and NA temp sensor bungs different thus not being a drop in solution?
I think unless youre going turbo and doing some road racing, the stock radiator will be fine.

 

man... didn't i just call you asking if the temp bungs were the same... !!!

now i can't buy the stupid radiator until someone confirms...

but wait... if these guys are running aftermarket radiators made for the supra in the SC... then the temp bungs should be the same..
