Default K&N Filters

I was thinking of replacing some of the filters on my car. Has anyone had good experiences with K&N filters? Just the drop in filters, I am not talking about an intakes system or anything. Just the K&N Oil filter and K&N Air filter. I searched and found that people put them in but never saw any results.

The only down side would be if the oil gets on the MAF and messes it up. Theyre a lot more expensive than a new OE air filter.

I have one on mine. I got it when I bought my car. I am unsure how long it's been in there, but I cleaned it a couple times and no issues with the maf at all. What I read before is not over oil the filter and let it dry before driving it to prevent MAF failure.

k&n web site says that they come pre oiled when new so I dont think it should be a problem.

At some point you have to clean and re-oil.
