My BFI DIY attempt
I have the airbox cut and cleaned up nice.
I took the lid from a big Rubbermade "Tote" to use for the section under the headlight.
Engine side of the box..
Battery side of air chamber..
Sealed up..
Fitting the top cover.
All buttoned up.
Front scoop..
From the inside...
I wrapped the plate up so it wouldn't block the hole. The pink highlight shows how wide the "mouth" is.
I like the results, makes it feel and sound better.
The only problem is now I get MAF codes and my CEL light comes on after driving for 10-15 mins.
