Default 1999 SC300 transmission code clarification

Hi all,

Well, I have been working on my car for the past two weeks and got it up and running again after some major tune up and maintenance. Accidentally stripped the bolt on my transmission pan, so I ghetto rigged it with RTV to hold it in until I can get a new pan and bolt.

With all being said, here's the question. Does anyone know which transmission code I have on a 1999 SC300? I searched the forums and google, some people said it was the A340E, and others said it was the A341E. Can anyone give me a solid answer of what it is?

Thanks,

Chinh P.

Your 99 sc300 should have the A341E. One way to tell is if you have the ECT-i (intelligent) button on the shifter console. I believe pre 98 or 99 sc300 come with the
A340E and a normal ECT button.
