Default Sc300 idle issue. not iacv

I have a sc300 with a puzzling idle problem. when i start the car, the idle is good in park but after i shift to reverse the idle becomes very low. like 200 rpm and boggy. if i completely let off the gas while moving without braking, the rpm falls to a little under 1k, where its supposed to be.. but if i brake it will slowly drop low coming to a stop around the first dash. but it doesn't die. i've checked all the vacuum lines i can see and i dont hear any farting. I do hear a strange "wwwooosh" sound (sounds kinda like a jet engine) when accelerating cold but it normally goes away before i get out of the neighborhood. never heard it until I changed my fan clutch but was idling poorly before that. I replaced my old broken iacv with a functioning one so i know its not that. have searched these forums and cant find anyone with the same idle problem or even anything similar. I really need to fix this because its my daily and i'd really hate to do damage to it driving around with the problem. as soon as i find my volt meter i will check the tps but im just wondering if anyones dealt with a problem like this before?

Does the car die or does the idle change when you press the brakes?

car never dies, pressing brakes doesnt change the idle. If i accelerate and then let off the gas and cruise the rpms will go to where their supposed to be but if i brake to stop, they drop real low. after that if i brake nothing changes idle just stays low and boggy. in p r n & d

Check to see if any of the hoses that connect to the intake are loose/disconnected. Sometimes that will cause odd idling problems, and possibly the "woosh" sound you are hearing.
