ok, im looking to pick up a sc4 for 1g. the only issue is that the car just dies after about one minute of running fine. The car will start up fine and idle normal, but after about a minute, it just turns off. anyone know why?
the owner right now got the car at a repo auction and doesnt have the clicker to open the car, only the key stub for some reason. could that be linked? a security issue? or maybe a sensor? help!

idunnoo bro buh dat sorta happened 2 ma sc4 also..it wud start up den shut off i changed da alternator buh it also kept shuting off later i got a new battery nd now it runs fine..run a test on da battery 2 make sure tho if not idunno wut 2 tell u

Here, let me translate for you:

I don't know brother, but that sort of happened to my SC400 as well. It would start up, then shut off...i changed the alternator, but it continued to shut off. Later, i got a new battery and now it runs fine. Run a test on the battery to make sure though. If not, I don't know what to tell you.
