Default Need replacement boot for SC300 manual shifter

My dog ate my boot—seriously. He tore up the leather boot surrounding the shifter on my MANUAL transmission 1993 SC300. I'm looking to replace it as inexpensively as possible. Any suggestions on where I might look for one? I don't care if it's used as long as it's in good condition. And what is it officially called? All my searches on "leather" "boot" "stickshift" etc., in the Lexus forums turned up naught. Also, can anyone point me to diagrams for how to replace it?

Thanks much.

P.S. Please remember this is not an automatic transmission.

just gotta unscrew the ****, and then the whole plate comes out. its not bolted down just snaps down on the center console. i think a brand new one from driftmotion or luxurymods is like 60 bucks.

Of course it's not an automatic.

Check ebay UK. I bought a genuine leather boot for about $25 shipped. It's only the leather part. Not the bezel.

I used this guide for the install...

Those instructions for a shifter boot are screwy. It is much easier to melt the plastic with a soldering gun than it is to drill it out and hope you have enough left to reinstall. Trust me, I've done it.

Question Instructions needed

Hey Guy's I know this is a old post.

I just bought a new Leather boot for my manual sc300. I got the shifter plate removed but it appears the leather is actually clipped into the shifter plate. I'm not sure how to go about getting the old leather boot out without breaking the whole shifter plate. I wanna trying poping the knubs that are holding it in but I really cant afford to break it. Any info would be great!!

Is your shift boot OEM? If my memory serves me correctly, a new OEM shift boot comes with the plate attached.
