Default Could a Vacuum Leak cause this?

When I accelerate from a stop my car revs to around 2k before speedo starts to move, and there is a whine/small whistling sound coming from what sounds like either the back of the engine or the middle console.................it almost sounds like something spinning but not catching. Then once I get out of 1st gear the sound goes away. I have enclosed a video of the RPM issue.....sorry for the crappy quality I was driving and my phone camera blows

I'm wondering is this could be a vacuum leak, Torque Converter issue or maybe something else?

Go to your nearest auto parts store, and ask for a vaccuum tester for rent. hook it up to one of your vaccuum hoses after the Throttlebody. It should read roughly 18, if it ready higher than that like 15 or better then you probably have a vac leak yes. Does your car surge at all? Go up in RPMs then down in RPMs and cycle like that?
