I just had my cam gears replaced under the TSB before my warranty ran out.

As soon as I got it back I noticed that the engine doesn't seem as quiet. It sounds like someone installed a sewing machine under the hood.

Is this normal. Does it take a while to "wear in" or something?

Post a video, not sure what kind of sound is you are hearing. Ill be honest if it was quiter before then something is not normal. Why did you have to replace it anyways?
