Default OEM sc motor mounts vs Supra mounts

Ive read up on the supra mounts and it seems like a popular alternative to the stock ones... but mostly cause of the cost. My question is since they are stronger, "better" mounts does that mean they are stiffer and likely to cause engine vibration to be felt through the car? I dont mind spending the extra coin to get the OEM ones if there is the chance of vibration... Ive been through it before with my old honda that needed motor mounts I bought hasport billet mounts for it and it rattled my car so bad I took them right out and got OEM ones.

any input would be great.

I noticed no additional vibration from installing MKIV Supra mounts to replace my broken Lexus mounts. Understand that was going from a 2jzge to a potent 2jzgte on a single. That the MKIV's are likely stronger mounts and less expensive is all good.

I doubt it's gonna be that bad, I mean they came OEM in a Supra, so it's not like they're gonna be solid mounts or something.

Feel exactly what? Is this a complaint on the mounts or something that is subtle and non-intrusive? Are you saying that the SC is shaking/vibrating with them? Do you regret installing them?

DankySC300 is worried that Toyota OEM Supra mounts will feel like his Honda on billets. The SC has a much more robust, heavy chassis and does not transmit vibrations they way a front wheel drive Honda would, imho.

In my case I'll stand by my experience that there was absolutely nothing noticed in the cabin after my engine swap onto Supra mounts.

Dankysc300, these are not "billet mounts" and oem Supra mounts aren't going to rattle a Lexus they way Hasports rattled your Honda. I feel no sort of shake, rattle or pulse into the cabin of the SC with Supra mounts.

If you are in Nor Cal you are welcome at a weekly Nor Cal Supra get together and see for yourself. pm me for details if that interests you.

I have hockey pucks for motor mounts and my car rides smoother than anything I've ever driven. Would definitely reccommend.

Here is a cad file of the stock one.

Now a cad file of the new one

Now a cad file of them over each other to show how they fit the stock mount envelope

Now some finished pics, They are wrinkle coat painted.

Digging this up from a shallow grave....Does Cusco make motor mounts for the SC's or MKIV's? I loved them on my old SR.
