Default 98+ SC300 transmission = A341E or A343E?

Did a search and quite a few people have indicateed that the 98+ SC300 has a A341E transmission, but the Intellexual FAQ states that the it has a 343E instead (I really don't even know what a A343E is...). Assuming it actually does have the A341E transmission, (I know there are some differences like the electronic vs. cable kickdown), but is it roughly about as strong as the Supra TT A341E?
