Default Car runs rough and stalls at idle after spark plug, wires, cap, and rotor change

Hello, I just replaced the Spark plugs, wires, caps, and rotors on my SC400. The car hesitates during slow acceleration but runs find under full acceleration. At stoplights, the car stalls and idles a little rough, I just build a custom intake with a tube going from the maf to a kn filter in the bumper if that helps. one of the new wires got frayed a little on the belt on accident, but just through the black rubber, Could that be the problem, or could it be something else? thanks alot

did you try to reset your ecu?

disconnect your battery for about 10 min then reconnect it, that will reset your ecu. try it.

maybe you took too big of a hit before working on the lex? lol jk

uh things that come to mind, well rotor on backward, well not likely as it would not run uh.. cracked sparkplug, not likely.... uh maf unplugged... is the check engine light on? you said you nicked a plug wire. if it is cut enough and is arcing onto some part of the engine that would cause a rough running condition. any air leaks in the intake system causing unmetered air enter after the maf? too much k&n oil on the filter causing the maf to read incorrectly? there you go. you should be thankful its friday and i"m still @ home, not for long though good luck

Actually, 1-2 min will do just fine. Just Put your foot on the brake for about 1 min and everything will be reset. By putting your foot on teh brake, it activates your taillights, which will drain the residual power left in the system. its like disconnecting your keyboard from the PC (hypothetical wireless keyboard) and typing for about 20-30 sec to discharge the capacitors.

But yes, get that vac line fixed and your should be fine. its amazing what one or two leaking lines will do to your idle and overall behavior of the car.

if it doesn't go away, you might want to check the plug wires, the cam gears/timing belt likes to eat them
