REBUILD: 2jz-GE

ARP head studs $139.86 rod bolt - $64.75 main studs $119.37

Bearings - acl race bearings - $230.00 stock size

seals/gasket kit GTE - $212.99

damper pulley - ATi- $407.60

Headgasket GTE- SCE Head Gaskets .062inch -$117.37

Pistons GTE - JE $641.99

Piston Rings GTE - Total Seal Piston Rings $257.37

Rod GTE - Eagle Rods $495.00

Valves GTE - Ferrea Valves "stock size" $263.40

Valves Springs GTE - Ferrea $351.20

Valve Locks GTE -Ferrea $4.68 comes in 2

Valve Spring Seat Locators GTE -Ferrea $92.96

Valve Retainers GTE - Ferrea $202.80

Machine work:

mill the head-this takes off a very thin amount of metal to make a perfectly flat mating surface

deck the block-same thing as milling the head just to the block

cylinder hone-removes unmeasurable amount of metal from the cylinder bore to make a new surface for the new rings

wash or acid bath if available-cleans and degrease engine completely, removes corrosion and oxidation from the aluminum

sounds more like your gonn build the motor..... than rebuilding it with the valves etc.... the price is really good for what your getting

what are your power goals? id recommend having the crank checked and knife edged if needed. also if your going for big power id suggest doing billet main caps check out a company called pro gram for the mains

well like i said before dont leave out the mains while you have the motor apart its worth it

If your power goals are anything less than 600whp why wouldn't u just get a BRAND NEW GTE shortblock from toyota for $2250? U know it will be assembled correctly and saves u the hassle of machine work etc...At least thats what i decided to do and Im gonna start this weekend!
