Exclamation JDM 1UZ? Does it swap into a USDM SC400?

Im looking at replacing my worn out 1UZ with a low milage JDM one, will it plug into my 95 harness? Any tips or advise on this would be great.

Thanks
Josh

Good post man. I was about to ask this question also. I searched for 1UZ on ebay and came across some low-mileage JDM 1UZ-FE for a good price. I would think we can use our harness and it should be close to plug and play. Maybe some sensors might diff from our motor and we could switch it around. I don't know, just throwing things out. haha Maybe someone can shine on this swap.

I do know that it would delete the EGR and one of the JDM 1UZ engines has a clutch fan, instead of the hydro fan, I forett what chassis its from. Also most JDM engines are tuned more aggressive than the USDM counterpart, not sure if its true for the 1UZ.
