Default Dead temp guage

I just bought a sc300 and noticed that my temp needle doesnt work. it stays at the bottom. I was just wondering what are the possibilities that it could be. The cluster has red needles and the lights in the back are blueish, also the lights at the left side of the cluster flickers. Thanks in advance.
