Question Tach Measurement/Adjust?

I replaced the tach motor after breaking it replacing one of the needles in the cluster, and the two motors have different readings on the cluster. Is there any way to read the actual RPMs off the engine and adjust the tach motor accordingly?

SC300 and SC400 tach assemblies are different and will give different readings.

Thanx for the response. So regardless of the motor, no way to make adjustments?
