Default headgasket swap... Shiny oil... bad?

alright well i just did a head gasket swap and it runs good, the oil i took out before looked perfectly fine, i then put the new non synthetic oil in for the 30 seconds of running it and drained it. When it came out it was shiny and had a metallic to it. If it was my guess i would say it's from the cam shafts since i only put regular oil on them and since it sat for 2 days like that the oil probably came off...? could this self correct if so?

this is the oil from the oil filter.

If it had actually blown the headgasket previously, the was likely some coolant/water residue in some of the oil jackets and journals throughout the system still, that is hopefully just some washdown. Do a compression test and if everything checks out then do it again. But run it up to temp and give it a little reving (to like 4k, no higher). You should consider the same for your cooling system. Good luck.

right, well i think you are right cause i took out the second thing of oil i put into it and barely anything way in that you pretty much need a magnifying glass to find it.
