hi guys sorry for the question if it has been covered before but i was just needing to know what were the bigest fuel injector i could run on my ge motor with the stock fuel rail thanks in advance
With something as important as fuel, why skimp? Upgrade the whole system to reflect your fuel consumption.
He is right
Well, if you do decide to go this route ... Do you have an external FPR? I was running 880's on a stock rail with an external FPR. I have since upgraded to a Dave H fuel rail which looks, and I am sure flows a hundred times better.
oh ok i was just wondering how it was on the lexus i just came from a turbo integra and i was running 720cc injectors with a walbro hp intake pump i was just trying to see the limits of the fuel rail before i upgrade
Hmm... Arlington?... I'm surprised we haven't met.
Anyway, I've safely run 720s in a stock GE fuel rail that was modified as dual-feed/center return. The limit is about 650 hp on one walbro with this setup. I accidentally made 694 whp when the second pump didn't come on.
so are you in arlington also. I just picked up my sc around 3 weeks ago so i havent been in the scene for long but i was wanting to run a dual walbro intake setup and try to see how much i could make with my na-t and a r154 on e85 since its a pump right down the street from where i stay

I disagree with both of your premise in that its an all or nothing upgrade, though I'll be the first to say I don't really know my butt from hole in the ground regarding fuel systems, but for discussions sake...
76turbo poised a valid question. How much you can bring up the capacity without doing a full blown replacement is worthy. The 2j has excess capacity just about every where you look it would be no surprise to learn the eom fuel rail has some upside flow with a bonus of possibility of keeping the existing fuel lines and fitting. I would research the fuel dampner bypass mod and the 12v mod to help things out.
Motorheaddown puts it out there; making mid-600 h.p on stock rail; thats seriously huge power. For me, the w58 is the weak link, right now my A/F ratio gets lean in the low 400's. I'd like to bump that up with out pulling the entire fuel system.
On the 2jzgte the injectors are side feed and there that top feed flow higher, but I'll leave that for another to elaborate on because I have not been there.
