Default RMM Exhaust on 98 SC400 has anyone done this yet??

I was looking into purchasing a Rod Millen Motorsports Lexus SC400 specific axle back exhaust. The only problem is they say that it has been tested on Lexus SC400 vehicles from 92-97 ONLY, and they will not guarantee fittment on the 98-00 model SC400's. I know that the rear bumper on the 97 SC is the same but does anyone know if the exhaust is routed the same for the 98-00 model SC 400's since there was an increase in H.P. and TQ. on these later year cars. I do not want to order one and find out the hard way that this system will not work on my car as a direct bolt on kit. I have searched and been on YouTube and only saw PRE-98 cars with this type of exhaust on it. I also verified that the BORLA 11401 exhaust has been discontinued and the last one SOLD was in mid 2006. One less exhaust choice for this car.

Could someone on this Forum please respond to this. Does anyone out there know if the rear exhaust from the resonator back is the exact same on a 92-97 as it is on a 98-00 model SC400. This info would be extremely helpful. So any of you SC 400 gods out there please respond.

Hmmm... I believe it would bolt on just fine. I have it on my '95 SC400 and obviously it fit like a charm. Just give it another day or so and somebody else with more knowledge on the '98+ will say for sure, but from what I have seen/read, it should be fine.

That's my car in case you were wondering what it sounds like... That's without any resonators.

Good luck!

It will definitely bolt up, sound, and look amazing. Post video of the exhaust when you have it installed.
