Default 90k Service + getting ready for NA-T

I am about to do the 90k service but at the same time I would like to get the car ready for a NA-T.

I am trying reduce the amount of labor and parts that I will need.

So here are my thoughts

Compression test
Spark plugs (brand?)
Timing belt (brand?)
TT fuel pump (is this a straight swap or do I need to do a 12v mod?)
550cc Injectors (what type are the easiest to swap over)
Fuel rail? (do I need one?)
Sparkplug wires (brand?)
all filters (oil,fuel)
Sencors / other things to boost MPG?
Water pump (brand?)

I think I am going to go with the T57 so that I will have very little lag for daily driving.

I was looking at this:

or

this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus...pagenameZWDVW- most likely will go with this

I'm not going to get the turbo kit right way. Is there a down side to lowering the cars compression before boosting the car? Hp goes down but does MPG go up?

Anything else that I should have looked at or have replaced while doing 90k?

Heres my thoughts....

Comp test is a good idea.

I'm think'n why go with the TT fuel pump? Unless you can get one really cheap or for free a $100 walbro 255lpr fuel pump will work great and probably out flows the supra TT pump?(don't quote me on that)

NGK spark plugs are good. Anything NOT platinum will work. AC delcos work great for me.

Although when you go turbo you should switch to the TT suggested plugs. They are a range colder and will help fight detonation.

OEM toyota timing belt.

Look for some 3rd gen rx-7 injectors. they are 550's and a dime a dozen on the rx-7 forums. They are always swapping them out for larger ones. Then send them out to be cleaned and flow checked.

Replacing sensors/filters is always a good idea. Fuel/oil/etc 02 sensors would probably help your MPG.

OEM toyota water pump

I'd stay away from cheapo ebay foam filters. I'd hold off on that other filter as well. If you swap over to a maf-less turbo system you just need a couple rubber couplings and a standard K&N cone filter.

Yes lowering compression before installing the turbo will drop power quite a bit. No it won't save U any gas. U could bump up your timing a little to try and compensate until you get the turbo kit.

What are your power goals? Hard to give info if we don't have all the details!

Theres very little difference between a t57 and a t60. And a t60 is a more common turbo so it may be cheaper. If you want a quick spooling turbo go ball bearing.

U didnt' say if your running a manual or auto. Might want to look into freshening whatever transmission U have as well.

Power goals are 300-400hp.

Are the TT plugs gaped smaller?

Manual.

I'm in the same boat as TecnoSmurf so any extra information would be appreciated.

There is no set specific way of doing this. Jut make sure you have the necessary gauges and fuel system first. ie injectors, fuel pump, and fuel management system. Then add the turbo kit of your choice.

NGK3330 plugs are what I use for my NA-T setup with stock wires.

I may have some NA-T turbo stuff for sale soon - but don't hold me to that...
