Aristo Swap, Getting some kind of Ignition cut
I got my aristo motor running, it purs like a kitten, but i get some kind of ignition cut at like 2,500 or 3,000rpms.. I monitored the AF ratios during this and they stayed normal so it wasnt a fuel cut or anything. It just sputters like hell, wont rev any higher and backfires like a son of a gun. It sounds exactly like i have a 2 step set up.... ive wired the entire ECU, but i havent wired up the speed sensor yet.......Any Ideas?

Doesn't this sound exactly like what Bobby was struggling with on his 1JZ (R.I.P.) when he first got it running? I wonder if the situations are at all related.

Dont know why i couldnt find that thread when i searched, im gonna try what he did tomorrow and see what happens. Its been 2 weeks to the day since i started pulling my stock motor out, i think im doing pretty good, but this crap of not being able to rev is crazy. The wiring on this thing has been a NIGHTMARE!
