Default Thermostat housing for Aristo swap?

I saw in this thread, here, that you have to get the Supra thermostat housing for an Aristo swap. This is the first and only mention of this I have found. Is this optional depending on certain factors, or a must?

Input is appreciated! I am trying to preorder everything as my engine is stateside and should be to me in a week or two.

Thanks

Thanks, but I am asking about the housing, not the thermostat.

The housing can be interchanged but you have to drill the bolt hole bigger and also it will be facing a different direction. You will have to do a little fabricating to make it work as I did mine.

Ah, so the hose will be pointing a different direction or something? I see I see. Hmmmmm, I may go ahead and order that housing after all, so I don't have to screw with it...

Thanks!
