Did you ever replace the igniter and see if that fixed the problem?

^^^ you just wasted your money, it wont fix your problem, its a wiring issue. You could have asked me I would have let you use the extra sensors I have.

I agree with Shlounek, proly a wiring problem. But heres a litttle hint. Water got into my last ECU and basically trashed it. Car would not rev past 2000 ! Got my new ecu and bam back to normal. Its worth a shot to switching ecus from a running car.

if its a wiring issue, have you figured it out? if so what was the problem, would you recommend just buying a new wiring harness or what?

My garage is fricken cold, its below freezing here, and i am trying to find a heater for the garage. I am aiming on 2 things now. Wiring or electricity load problems making the igniter function below par, resulting in bad ignition.

I saw another post on Soarer Central of a in-tank fuel pump problem with a rubber hose, I will post a pic. I will get on this soon.

any updates on this?

but anyways, my cam position sensors came today, so i'm going to try and have them in by the end of the weekend, but it looks like i have to take off the whole intake manifold to do it, if anyone who has actually replaced them has an easier way, i'd love to hear it and save some time, thanks guys

I am still waiting for my torpedo propane heater from Ebay, my garage is too big.

As for the cam sensors, you dont need to take off your intake manifold, thats a headache in itself. Basically take off all the stuff blocking your way, the hoses and in the rear take off the engine bracket and the ISC valve. And using your small hands, and small 10mm wrech get at it.

You will swear and curse and your calves will begin to hurt from bending in so far, but it will work. Good luck
