Does that pinout match your harness, and if so, locate the NSW wire and cut it (somewhere that you can easily put it back together). Then see if you still have the problem. Just a hunch I have.

Keep in mind that the perspective of that pinout chart is looking into the back of the connectors, where the wires go in, with the clips on the top.

ya, everyting on that pinout is just like mine

i'll try it sometime this weekend, what do you think its going to do by cutting it? What would that have to do with the Cam and crankshaft sensors?

EDIT: just went out and cut it, no change at all

Alright. Do you know how to run a continuity check? I would check out the cam and crankshaft circuits and see if there are any shorts or breaks in the wires.

get the cam sensors from autozone, you have the same problems as me, same engine code also. And also my cam sensor 1 plug was full of oil when I unplugged it.

I have my sensors but I am not home so I can test them out. But I will let you know if I swap them out this week.

There are two on the intake side of the head, and then the crank position sensor is physically behind the crank pulley but it has a pigtail that goes up to the water outlet housing area.

the 2nd cam sensors is under the IAC.

both are pretty easy to get too, the crank sensor isn't bad to get to either...it's the front knock sensors that's a pita

alright guys, I might be buying those sensors this weekend. I'm going to wait till after the big supra meet to do anything because chances are there will be other 1jz Sc's there that i can chit chat with and look at their setup.

Be sure to test the wires out first before buying any new parts.
