Gte + Bpu + Extreme Cold Weather
Im debating on doing the swap but the winters here are pretty harsh will this do any harm to the engine and turbos? Im talking about -30C this car is my daily driver so it'll hafta survive and be reliable, no point in more power if im stranded in the cold
any feedback would be great thanks

Heat is the normal enemy. But freak, -30c! Ice/traction is your enemy. I'd make sure I had a LSD on the rear end to ever think I could get anywhere in the winter. I doubt the gte would suffer anymore than the 2jzge.
Once my engine is warmed up, it likes the cool, dense charge offered up by the SF Bay area in the evenings. But it's a far cry from your winter lows.

Run a low viscosity oil in the winter and make sure to let your car warm up plenty and you shouldn't have any problems. When the car is idling, you'll actually be at negative boost pressure, so you should actually be running lean. Then, once the car is warmed up, there will be more airflow (cold air is more dense) so you'll get more hp.
Sounds like win-win to me.
