that is 2k rpms of fury on the top end. holy cow.

It is really amazing what can be thrown at a 2.5L engine with no internal modifcations.

New 1J MKIII record 844 whp@30 psi.

Alleged Mods lol:

GT45 turbo, aftermarket pistons, stock rods, aftermarket valvetrain, ported head, 30psi and no nitrous on 2.5 liters.

Wait for it.... Wait for it.... Wait for it.... BAM!!! That is one badass ride. Now if he can get it to make power a wee bit earlier he'd be unstoppable. I know that there are trade-off's big #'s vs earlier power, but damn, there's alot happening in a short amount of time.

the purpose of these expositions is dyno power, not streetable power.

the standard 1JZ convention of a 61-63mm turbo with the proper breathing and fuel delivery should result in over 400whp with good turbo response and a streetable power band.

these dyno queens are just exhibiting the capacities of the bottom end. the streetable power build is well documented on supraforums. there is practically a prescribed route for 400whp.

all depends where you want to put down that power: street, dyno, track, autox, etc.
