I'm having trouble installing my catback exhaust because I can't get the dang bolts off that are rusted on. Does anyone know how to help me? Will CLR or Lime Away help or will it damage the flange, or should I just saw the nuts and bolts off and get a new gasket, nuts and bolts?
PB blaster doesnt work all the time. I ended up using a rotary tool and chopped the bolts off easy. When you buy a new gasket, dont use the O ring type. get the full gasket.

Thanks man.. if i dont have a rotary tool you think a nut cracker would work?
Oh and for the gasket its going to be 3'' right? not sure if that's whats on the stock flange
WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT GASKET and what was the price? I was searching when trying to get new gaskets for my exhaust but all i found were the round ones that fit inside
Damn dude your exhaust is hella rusty. What I would do is blast the hell out of it with some PB (as pictured a couple posts up) and force the bolts off. I would care less if they broke. You wont be able to reuse them anyway. What kind of catback are you putting on?
i just use a saw off with a metal blake, u gonna use new nuts and bolts any way. up to u, wait for the lubricant or ready to put your catback in 5 min.
