Alright a lot of you (just like me) are having problems with a Generic "RPM Signal" code.

I have had symtoms not related to eachother, very strange.
So far I have...

Replaced my Fuel Filter - Got rid of CEL until yesterday
Replaced Spark Plugs - No CEL rid, but runs better

But determined to figure out what this code was all about... I looked further.

I noticed a wire... that was rubbing on the belt! It happens to connect to the passenger side cam shaft bank!

I repaired the wire and what do you know? CEL is gone! Runs awesome, no jerking or kocking, smooth now.

last month and a half has been a nightmare with this car. i really wanted to sell it and get a supra lol. but since i fixed it, my lust is back for the car haha

 

yea man when i did my swap on my sc400 i had to change every electrical component on the car (car was a flood car) but now i got it up and running it put the biggest grin on my face when i crank her up 1 mor month and it should be a brand new sc again thanks to gazi and his team

 

You have the 1j in a 400? how did that go
