Hey guys, i was off work early today and i decided, make my intake into a cold air intake here the stuff i need, here is some pictures sorry for the quailty its my camera phone
1. (3) 90 degree elbow
2. (1) coupler
3. (2) 4 inches straight pipe
4. (1) maf adapter (drill your own holes)
5. K&N fillter

you can get all of this at autozone
first off i had to mark my own hole for my maf adapter then i drills the hole out so this why i can connected it.

Then i connected my black rubber coupler to the 90 degree elbow and the maf

Then i connected my 90 degree elbow to a 4 inch straight pipe, also on the other side of the end i connected a 90 degree elbow, but here is the tricky part, in the picture on the side of the car there is a black plastic cover that cover power wires....take that off and use a hammer and hammer little bit of the side down so this way another 90 degree elbow can fit in the hole. note this does not take longer then 1 min, this does not need more then a couple hits, just enough for a 90 degree elbow can fit

I has an intake mounted just like that. I never went through deep water. One day I was driving on the highway, behind an eighteen wheeler, and just the water being blown up from the road accumulated and made its way up through the piping. And,... HYDROLOCK!
Luckilly it didnt hurt anything. After I had it towed home I was able to pull the tb, and clean out the manifold, pull the plugs and crank it over.
Bottom line, ..I would NEVER run one again.
