Lsd Questions
i thought i saw something that said an mk3 LSD would fit into an sc300 rear diff? did i read it wrong? i tried searching for it but came up with nothing...
so the question is...
would an lsd from a 90-92 1jz powered supra fit in the sc300?
also...
would an aristo lsd work in the sc300?
if so... whut mods are needed and whut parts?
thank you

dont know if this helps but....
The SC can use the JZA80 Supra's TorSen (torque-sensing) LSD, or the TRD full-time limited-slip differential. The TorSen LSD was offered on the Supra TT 6-speed, automatic, and Supra NA automatics. Each has a different final drive ratio. The Supra NA automatic LSDs are rare since most NA automatics came with open differentials, but if you can find one, it's the only LSD that matches the final drivetrain ratio as the pre-98 SC400 and SC300's 4-speed autos. If you have an Getrag 6-speed transmission and want the TRD LSD, buy TRD# 41301-JA800 to match your final drive ratio. All other tranny types buy TRD# 41301-JS401. Be aware that mix matching the 6-speed LSD with non-6-speed drivetrains will alter your final drive ratio which will affect your speedometer accuracy.

A direct answer to your question might be found over on the SupraForums, problem searching as that forum search feature is dead till sometime Jan 07.
I'm running the LSD from a n/a mkiv 5-speed in my SC300 perfectly, straight bolt up. Huge help with traction.
