Default Exhaust time.....recommendations...

I think I'm gonna go the way of 2 universal mufflers and custom piping. My question is, does any have any preference for hi-flow cats'??? I'm sure it's time to replace 'em at 209K miles.

I'm probably gonna do the SAFC2, BFI, and exhaust in one pass.

I saw the dyno post from 176 to 208, and I think his was a pre 96/97 model,... so I'd imagine to have slightly more power off tha top anyways.

car-sound (magnaflow) is better quality than catco imo.

check this out (turn up the volume): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WojhdX0HQ2E

SC400
stock cats, x-pipe with custom pipes (no resonators or third cat) out to universal Magnaflows (18" offset/offset)

i hear no aftermarket cat (ceramic) flows better than the stock metal substrate ones.

Hey bro, your exhaust sounds What are the diameters of the pipings? How much did it all cost you? Man, I need to do mines over. I just got the Magnaflows hanged and deleted resonator. Your sounds like what I want mines to be.

JDM: The piping is 2.25" crush bends, but out as straight as we could possibly get them. The mufflers are Magnaflow, but not the racing ones that are popular here. I went with longer (deeper sound) 18" offset/offset universals. I painted them black in order to remain stealth. $400 out the door, 2 mufflers (reused tips), x-pipe, and custom pipes.

NAZ: My car is a 2000 SC4. Haven't dynoed it yet, but it does feel noticeably stronger than my bro's stock 98 SC4. We've swapped cars and his thoughts were the same.

Loved the sound... Also gotta love your car...2000 SC400, rare indeed...They only sold a little more than 2000 cars in 2000.

Wonder what my TT SC400 is going to sound like?.....We'll know soon...
