Mine's pretty much the same thing as Morris' old SC setup before he went turbo - less the cogged setup and plus a few shiny bits.

98 - 00 still are 1UZ-FE (01+ GS430s are 3uz), just with VVT-I so it should be the same dimensions. Difference is probably the GS engine bay vs the SC's.

You're right. It's my bad. I had hastily jumped to it. I only have a 95 SC400 with a 1UZFE. However, I'm still confusing because the VVT-I engine doesn't look the same as my 1UZFE. I think the VVT-I belongs to a 97-00 or later model. Nevertheless, that supercharger is lively and so tempting just by looking at it.

On the VVT-i motors the super charger in mounted on the side of the engine from what I can see in the pic's. Most 1uz-fe supercharged motors are mounted with a new intake manifold and supercharger setup on top of the motor.... It's a total different concept and fitment with the VVTI motors from what I can see in GSdave super clean Lex....Awesome!!!!!!!

well the vvti motors from what i've noticed have been mainly centrifugal superchargers, and the ones for pre vvti motors have been using roots superchargers which utilize a new intake manifold. there was a pic somewhere in the gallery of someone using a centrifugal on the pre vvti, mounting it in the battery area. not much was posted on that setup since i think the owner dropped the project.
