Default HKS Hi-Power single exhaust pics

Here are some pics of the HKS hi-power catback I got put on last week. I ordered it for the jza80 supra. Fitment was horrible. I only got it because someone told me that it would bolt up just fine. So i go to put it on and the muffler ends up being like 1 foot short of where its supposed to be. The mounts dont mount up to the factory mounts. I had to drive to an exhaust shop with an open downpipe (sounds badass with the turbo spooling) and get a new midpipe made and extended to get the exhaust to fit. 3 new hangers had to be welded on to get the exhaust to hold up and part of my spare tire well had to be hammered in.

The aftermath of all that looks to be well worth it imo. I like the way it looks. Out of the 15-20 boosted SC's that was at the South Florida meet this past weekend I was the only one with a single exhaust Sounds just like a Supra too.

do you think the fitment problem was because it was for a jza80 or because it just wasent the best quality? sounded strange since it is hks. but props for being different

HKS is one of the popular brands out there for aftermarket parts so its not their quality. It was because it was for the Supra and the Supra is a little bit shorter than the sc in length so I guess that was part of the problem.

boo to whoever told you that the cat-back would fit. I have this exhaust too, just the universal muffler though, I wish mine were angled like yours, but it's all good.

That single exhaust looks great man. So what are you gonna do to the other open outlet?

I'll probably get it filled in whenever I go to get my trunk shaved for the toyota and soarer emblems.

Chino, you should really consider putting your drivesahft loop back on. I know the hanger is using one of the bolts for the loop, but I'd get it relocated.

It's a saftly issue.
