MIKELOC: hey, quit following me around........hehe.........you know, im planning to go na-t man...
the only thing that was holding me back was that i was having 2nd thoughts for the 1jz swap...but i figured....na-t is a lot cheaper and besides i wont be boosting much.

NA-T is cheaper? I thought a 1jz swap would be cheaper because those engines are easy to find and priced much less than an aftermarket turbo kit like BL or Dave-H.

depends on the power level you want....

1jz can be done pretty cheap

but remember any big power is going to cost big $$

the engine itself is cheaper......but it's the labor that costs lots of $$$$$..........
and there are little things like the a/c wud be difficult to hook up and problems with
inaccurate gauge cluster or something....... it's easy for the shop to drop the 1j if it's a complete front clip...well, that's accrdg to them of course....but i think in the long run, it might be difficult to maintain like finding certain parts.....i dont know..i guess ill just stick to my na-t project....might as well since im gathering parts piece by piece anyhow......so no rush at all.

NA-t is just more fun.
You get to learn a lot more about your car if you go NA-t.
It doesn't take much skill to drive your car to a shop and just drop the money for a swap.
From now on, any car I ever drive will be turbocharged.
When I get tired of my SC (or it gets tired of me), my next project will be a GS300.

both NA-T and 1jz and 2jz are good as long as the work is done right
also it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend
