For, clips, I have heard JUCO is a good company. I plan on going with them when I get my clip. As for the parts, I have no clue, so I need to know too

^^Do you mean Jarco? Im still not sure if I want a 1jzgte or a 2jzgte. I The only thing that attracts me to the 1jzgte is the price. I am still tempted to get a 2jzgte with an r154 tranny regardless of the price because of less hassle trying to find parts. I live pretty close to titan motorsports and theyre loaded with 2jzgte parts. All I would have to do is drive and I wouldnt have to pay those incredible shipping prices and long waits that 1jzgte parts come with . Im still deciding

There is a toyota aristo 2jzgte clip at www.jarcoinc.com/inventory/halfcuts/ with an automatic transmission for $3695 ($3700) but I dont think a 2jzgte from an aristo will just bolt in. I heard that you will need a supra oil pan and motor mounts.

Yes, Jarco, sorry

You live in Orlando?

Yeah, it would be easier to have the 2JZ in there, but for me personally, I cant justify the extra costs. And there are plenty of people in Orlando that can probably get the parts you need from Japan. And you could probably buy a couple of extra things that are typical parts to go bad, just to have them on hand.

[QUOTE=mteele]http://www.jarcoinc.com/

Yes, Jarco, sorry

You live in Orlando?

Yep, but ive never owned a lexus SC300. (so what am i doing here? well, here goes) Ive always have been into toyotas and lexus. I used to live in oakland cali and Ive had a 1989 mustang lx 4 cyl for $50(man what a slug ), a 1988 ford taurus v6 3.8L for $300, and an 87 supra mkiii na 5 speed for $800 that was stolen.

For a while now, ive been looking for setups that will have to meet five things

1. A car that is not too expensive when I buy it

2. reliable products from the manufacter INCULDING THE CAR!!

3. huge capabilitys including power and defenatley handeling

4. would make a good daily driver

5. something with at least some room behind the front seats. (not for people but other things)

The SC300 and some other cars (like the 240sx) fit the category. I decided to choose the sc300. Its not that cheap, but its sure a great bang for the buck! Ive been researching everything about the sc300 since november last year and I should be getting a high milege one this summer.

Im the type of person that needs to know EVERYTHING about their car before they buy one.

Mathew

We get SCs from time to time but they always have automatic transmissions.
You are looking right at $2595 for a complete front clip (minus sheet
metal). The clip will come with driveshaft, fuel pump, and the complete
dash assembly with the guage cluster. I have a 5 speed in stock (R
series)that I can sell with it for $800 with a flywheel if you buy the clip.
If you are wanting a soarer clip I may be able to get you one on our next
trip over. Send me all of your daytime contact information in an email with
the subject JZZ. I will hang on to it and call you as soon as something is
available.
If you would consider a 2J have one in stock (JZS147) right for $3695.

Please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions.

Thank you for your interest,
Michael
