Hi,
Was looking for a engine and some shop told me they have 2jzgte from soarer.Just wondering if toyota soarer ever came with 2jzgte as option.

You could have found the answer yourself just by searching google or this forum.. wikipedia, lots of places..
to answer your question no..
it came with a 1jzgte, 2jzge, or 1uzfe in the 3rd generation soarers..
but no generations came with 2jzgte..
if they have a 2jzgte it's probably out of an Aristo, next likely would be a supra.

no hes asking if wiki made a faux pa by omitting the option of a 2jzgte soarer.
the engine could well be from a soarer as it may have been swapped into it in japan. and the dismantlers have labelled it as "soarer"
unlikely but possible...
or the engine could be a 2jzge non turbo and seller could be mistakely taking you for a ride...
but to answer your q.. no they did not.
to correct aka paco series 3 soarer the 1uz was sadly discontinued after a short run in 1997 due to low sales as the local market turned off big block / v8s

i swore they used the 1uzfe in the 91-96 Soarer's that being a 3rd generation soarer..
i know exactly what your saying that they didn't use them 97+
but a 91-96 soarer is still a 3rd gen soarer, and that had a 1uzfe did it not?
