Sorry if this already has been asked but I searched and searched and only saw one thing but I can no longer find it...............I am planning on doing a 2jzgte swap + 6 spd tranny but on one thing that threw me off was that people say only 95+ have a bigger tranny tunnel and is easier for the 6spd and the older models have to be shaved down in the tranny tunnel. thanks for any help I just really want to know what car to buy to make my swap ez. I know the 2jzgte and 1jzgte will swap in no problems its the tranny im being thrown off by.... oh ya and if i read correctly also you ahve to get a custom driveshaft when you do the 6spd correct........ And I am guessing you dont have to change the diffs ? Thanks again.

Yes, you need a custom driveshaft. And if you get a 6-speed tranny, you will be best off with a 6-speed rear end as well.

Dont worry about the tranny tunnel issues, it really isnt that hard to bang it out some for the clearence.
