HELP!! up & down idleing
Had starter changed, ---two days later very hard idle up & down while in park ---IT WANT STOP.----- Idle stays very high in drive and reverse.
Also the PS feels as if it has gone out.
It also looks like the engine has been cleaned.
I NEED HELP!!!!

Engine forum > engine question. Moved for you 
Clean your MAF and check for intake leaks. sounds like the mechanic didn't plug everything back up correctly, or left something off. Vac leak somewhere.

Yup, sounds like a Vac leak...
as OlT suggested.. But it may also be your IAC. Hmm, Engine cleaned? You may have got some water somewhere where it shouldn't be.. Check out your ignition system... Good luck with your car buddy... Bryan
