Engine stalls when decelerating
1993 LS400 137,000 miles. Over the last two weeks I have had two occurances of engine stall while slowing for a traffic light, foot off accelerator, gentle braking. Starts right up after stall. No trouble over the last few years. I do all of my own work, kept up with maintenance. Idle speed looks good, otherwise starts and runs great. Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks - Herm
Could be a lot of things........
Have you had problems with idle, or acceleration?
Could possibly be the MAF? or MAP? not sure what in the intake on that car.
Try cleaning the MAF sensor with rubbing alcohol .

i'm pretty sure you have a vacuum leak, where symptoms are magnified by sloppy, worn out engine mounts... it sounds to me like your vacuum leak (probably the pipe between the air flow meter and throttle body) is cracked...
easy way to test is to let your car idle, open the hood, and grab that hose and squeeze it firmly (don't crush it) and see if your rpms change... if it does, replace the hose first... and then have your engine mounts checked...
